Membership FAQs

How does membership work?

When you purchase any Tempo bundle on our website, you’ll get a full 12-month prepaid membership included—this means a whole year of unlimited access to all of Tempo’s amazing features, starting right away. After the 12 months, you can continue enjoying all our exclusive content for just $39/month or one of our prepaid plans. 


How does the 30-day trial work?

From the day your Tempo is delivered, you have 30 days to fall in love with Tempo or cancel your membership. Get a full refund if Tempo is not for you, including the cost of your first month of membership. Email hello@tempo.fit to start the return process.


Can I pause my membership?

Yes, for a limited time. If you purchase your Move, Studio, or Core, you can pause your membership for up to three (3) months per calendar year in your account portal at app.tempo.fit.


Do I need to buy a Tempo home gym to join Tempo? 

Unless you are joining a Tempo family, yes. 


Can I invite family members to my account?

Yes. You can invite 5 additional people to work out with you.



Prepaid Membership

How much does a prepaid membership cost?
  • 12-month prepaid membership: $420 (Plus applicable tax)
  • 24-month prepaid membership: $720 (Plus applicable tax) 


How can I purchase a prepaid membership, and how will I receive my prepaid subscription code?
You can purchase a prepaid membership by reaching out to our Support Team. They will assist you in generating an invoice for your selected prepaid plan. After completing the payment for your prepaid invoice, you will receive a unique subscription code via email.


How do I activate/redeem my prepaid subscription?

To apply your code, 

  1. Log in to your primary account through a browser on your laptop or phone. 
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the 'Your Membership' section, and you'll see an option labeled 'Redeem Code.'
  3. Enter the code you received in your email after completing your purchase, and your new plan will be activated immediately.

Can I get a refund for my prepaid membership?
You may cancel your prepaid membership at any time, but are not eligible for a refund. Please review our Membership cancellation Policy for further clarification.


BYOD FAQs

What is the BYOD feature offered by Tempo?

The BYOD feature, which stands for Bring Your Own Dumbbells, allows users to access all app features without needing additional equipment, provided they have their own dumbbells.


How does BYOD benefit me as a user?

BYOD enables you to utilize the full range of Tempo's workout features without investing in additional equipment, making fitness more accessible and cost-effective.


Do I need to have specific types of dumbbells to use BYOD?

You can use any dumbbells you have at home, whether they're adjustable, fixed-weight, or of any brand.


Can I still access Tempo's workout classes if I don't own dumbbells?

Yes, you can still access our workout classes even if you don't own dumbbells. However, having dumbbells will enhance your experience and allow you to engage more fully in our workouts.


How do I manage my BYOD subscription?

You can manage your BYOD subscription through your Tempo account settings. From there, you can view your subscription status and update payment information.


Is BYOD available on all devices?

Only available on supported ios models


How Many profiles can I have under the same membership?

You can have up to 6 profiles under the same account.
