How does membership work?

When you purchase any Tempo bundle on our website, you’ll get a full 12-month prepaid membership included—this means a whole year of unlimited access to all of Tempo’s amazing features, starting right away. After the 12 months, you can continue enjoying all our exclusive content for just $39/month, or one of our prepaid plans. 



How does the 30-day trial work?

From the day your Tempo is delivered, you have 30 days to fall in love with Tempo or cancel your membership. Get a full refund if Tempo is not for you, including the cost of your first month of membership. Email [email protected] to start the return process.



Can I pause my membership?

Yes, for a limited time. If you purchase your Move, Studio, or Core, you can pause your membership for up to three (3) months per calendar year in your account portal at app.tempo.fit.



Do I need to buy a Tempo home gym to join Tempo? 

Unless you are joining a Tempo family, yes. 



Can I invite family members to my account?

Yes. You can invite 5 additional people to work out with you.

Prepaid Membership

How much does a prepaid membership cost?
  • 12-month prepaid membership: $420 (Plus applicable tax)
  • 24-month prepaid membership: $720 (Plus applicable tax) 


How can I purchase a prepaid membership and how will I receive my prepaid subscription code?
You can purchase a prepaid membership by reaching out to our Support Team. They will assist you in generating an invoice for your selected prepaid plan. After completing the payment for your prepaid invoice, you will receive a unique subscription code via email.


How do I activate/redeem my prepaid subscription?

To apply your code, 

  1. Log in to your primary account through a browser on your laptop, or a phone. 
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the 'Your Membership' section, and you'll see an option labeled 'Redeem Code.'
  3. Enter the code you received in your email after completing your purchase, and your new plan will be activated immediately.
Can I get a refund for my prepaid membership?
You may cancel your prepaid membership at any time but are not eligible for a refund. Please review our Membership cancelation Policy for further clarification.


BYOD FAQs

What is BYOD, and how does it work?
BYOD (Bring Your Own Dumbbells) is a Tempo feature that lets you access our full range of guided workouts and app features using your own dumbbells—no need to purchase additional equipment. Just download the Tempo app, sign up, and start your fitness journey with the gear you already own!


Do I need special dumbbells for BYOD?
Nope! Any dumbbells you already have at home—adjustable, fixed-weight, or any brand—will work perfectly with BYOD.
What if I don’t have dumbbells can I still use BYOD?
Absolutely! You can still enjoy Tempo’s bodyweight and non-equipment-based workouts. When you’re ready, simply add dumbbells to enhance your training experience.


How do I get started with BYOD?
Getting started with BYOD is simple:
  1. Purchase your Tempo Training membership through the Tempo website.
  2. Download the Tempo app (available on supported iOS devices).
  3. Open the app and click on “I’m a Tempo Member.”
  4. Log in using the email you used to purchase your BYOD plan.
  5. Grab your dumbbells and start your first workout!

Can my family members use my BYOD membership?
Yes! With a BYOD membership, you can have up to 6 profiles under one account. Each person will have their own workout history and personalized recommendations.



Can I use BYOD on any device?
Currently, BYOD is available only on supported iOS devices. We support iPhones XR or later.

What’s the difference between BYOD and the full Tempo Studio experience?
With BYOD, you’ll have access to Tempo’s expert-led classes, training plans, and app features. However, you won’t have hardware-specific benefits like real-time form correction or automatic weight tracking that come with the Tempo Studio.
