Classes Tab Search

Users can search for classes using keywords from the class title, duration, or coach name. Results will be displayed in the existing class card format and will support infinite scroll for loading more results as the user scrolls.

PRs Tab Search

Users can search for exercises, using either the exercise name or the date of the PR record. Results will be displayed in the existing PR card format and will support infinite scroll.

Training Plans Search

Users can search for training plans by plan name or coach name. Results will follow the existing training plan card format and will support infinite scroll.



FAQs

General

Q1: Where can I use the new search feature?
A: The search feature is available within the Classes, PRs, and Training Plans tabs on both iOS and Studio platforms.

Q2: Can I search across all tabs at once?
A: Not yet. Search is currently limited to each individual tab. Cross-tab (universal) search will be available in a future update.

Q3: What kind of information can I search for?
A: You can search for:

  • Classes: Title, duration, coach name

  • PRs: Exercise name, date

  • Training Plans: Plan name, coach name


Classes Tab

Q4: Why isn’t my class appearing in the search results?
A: Make sure you're searching using keywords from the title, coach's name, or the duration number of characters. Also, check for typos or try using partial keywords. Minimum number of characters to start the search is 3 characters

Q5: Can I filter my class search results?
A: Yes, after you complete your search, you can apply the inline filters that appear below the search bar.


PRs Tab

Q6: Can I search PRs by weight or reps?
A: No, search only supports exercise names and dates at this time.

Q7: My old PRs aren’t showing up. What should I do?
A: Try using the exact or partial exercise name or the approximate date. If nothing appears, try clearing the search input and browsing manually.


Training Plans Tab

Q8: I’m searching for a training plan, but nothing comes up.
A: Make sure you’re searching using the plan name and, coach name


Search Behavior

Q9: Does the search support typos or partial words?
A: Yes! The feature includes close-match logic — it handles common typos, different word orders, singular/plural forms, and partial matches.

Q10: Will my recent searches be saved?
A: Yes. Your 10 most recent searches will appear as suggestions when you tap the search bar.

Q11: What if I don’t see any results?
A: You’ll see a “No results found” message. Try changing your search terms or simplifying your keywords.

Q12: Can I use filters during search?
A: Yes, but filters are only shown after you exit the search input field.

Q13: What is the Minimum characters for the search feature to generate results

A: The search feature requires a minimum of 3 characters before generating results. This helps filter out vague or overly broad queries and ensures users receive meaningful results faster.


Functionality & Troubleshooting

Q13: Is infinite scroll supported in search results?
A: Yes. More results will load automatically as you scroll down — no need to tap "Load More."

Q14: My search bar isn’t showing up — what should I do?
A: Make sure you're on the latest version of the app. Try restarting the app or reinstalling it if the issue persists.

Q15: Can I search programs using this feature?
A: Not at this time. Program search is not included in this version of the search, but it will be available soon.
